Spray forced cooling new quenching heat treatment process
At present, there are two main cooling methods adopting the new quenching heat treatment process at home and abroad: forced cooling by spraying high pressure air and forced rapid cooling by spraying. Due to the low production efficiency of the high-pressure air forced cooling process, it is not suitable for mass production; although the product hardness has been improved, the pass rate is still very low and the desired effect is not obtained. For this reason, we chose the spray cooling process. Spray cooling is to spray cooling water onto the surface of the automobile hub axle tube through a special nozzle. Its advantages are: short cooling time, high production efficiency, large cooling speed adjustment range, and easy mechanization.
Equipment design
In order to cooperate with the implementation of this process, the production process is stable and reliable, product performance fluctuation is small; suitable for mass production, and the principle of ensuring heat treatment quality, combined with the company's actual situation, we designed and manufactured the automobile half-shaft sleeve shown in Figure 3. Water spray cooling device. It is mainly composed of three parts: power unit (not shown in the figure), main drive chain, and spray system. The power part is mainly composed of motor (Y32M62.kW), reducer (XWE741/1125), belt pulley, sprocket, etc., which transmit power For the active sprocket, the main drive chain drives the product forward in the direction shown. In the process of moving, because the pinion on the supporting wheel shaft meshes with the rack fixed on the bracket, the workpiece can realize uniform and automatic rotation while moving, which can effectively ensure the uniformity and consistency of cooling.
