3. The extrusion ratio is too small

The extrusion ratio is the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the extrusion barrel to the cross-sectional area of the profile. The extrusion ratio should be controlled between 20-50. If the extrusion ratio is too small, the metal deformation will be insufficient, which will affect the strength of the industrial aluminum profile. If the extrusion ratio is too large, the mold will be damaged.

4. Quenching strength is not enough

The 6063-T5 profile is generally quenched by air cooling. From the beginning of discharge, the aluminum profile should be rapidly cooled with strong wind until the temperature drops to 60 degrees Celsius before straightening and sawing. If the temperature decreases slowly, it will lead to insufficient quenching and affect the strength of industrial aluminum profiles.

5. Insufficient aging temperature or inadequate holding time control Extruded and quenched aluminum profiles need to be artificially aged in an aging furnace. The aging furnace must always maintain a high temperature of more than 200 degrees Celsius. Insulation time of industrial aluminum profiles in the aging furnace is insufficient or too long The long-term metropolis will make the industrial aluminum profile fail to reach its proper tensile strength.

Therefore, to make high-quality industrial aluminum profiles, each link must be strictly controlled. If one link is lost, the industrial aluminum profiles will be rejected and scrapped.
