The difference between zinc alloy die casting and aluminum alloy die casting

Zinc alloy is an alloy based on zinc and added to other elements. The alloying elements added are low-temperature zinc alloys such as aluminum, copper, magnesium, cadmium, lead and titanium. Zinc alloy has low melting point, good fluidity, easy fusion welding, brazing and plastic processing. It is resistant to atmospheric corrosion and the residual waste is easy to recycle and remelt; but the creep strength is low and it is easy to cause dimensional changes caused by natural aging. According to the manufacturing process, it can be divided into cast zinc alloy and deformed zinc alloy. It can be used for die-casting instruments, galvanizing and anti-corrosion on the electrode surface of automobile parts, hot dip galvanizing treatment of pot body and cold-walled tube, to improve high temperature corrosion resistance.
The main alloying elements of aluminum alloys are copper, silicon, magnesium, zinc and manganese. The secondary alloying elements are nickel, iron, titanium, chromium and lithium. Aluminum alloy is one of the most widely used non-ferrous metal structural materials in the industry, widely used in aviation, aerospace, automotive, machinery manufacturing, shipbuilding and chemical industries.
First, the differences between the die casting process are as follows:
1. The melting temperature of the two alloys is different when processing, zinc alloy exceeds 400 degrees, aluminum alloy exceeds 700 degrees.
2. Different processing equipments, although they are called die casting machines, are simply not available.
3. The processing technology and parameters are different.
