1) High thermal strength:the operating temperature is several hundred degrees higher than aluminum alloy,then it could work for a long time at a temperature of 450 to 500°C.
2) High strength: 1.3 times higher than aluminum, 3.5 times of stainless steel.
3) Good low temperature performance: it can maintain a certain degree of plasticity at -253°C.
4) Good corrosion resistance: acid resistance, alkali resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance, particularly strong resistance to pitting corrosion and stress corrosion.
Because of its light weight, high strength and high temperature resistance, it is especially suitable for manufacturing the parts for aerospace. Also it requires very precise tolerances for titanium parts, then cnc machining is the best way to reach it.
