Disc golf is a game in which players throw frisbees at targets; It is played using rules similar to those of golf. Most disc golf discs are made from polypropylene plastic, also known as polypropylene, a thermoplastic polymer resin used in a variety of applications. The discs are also made from a variety of other plastic types that are heated and molded into individual discs. The game is usually played on a 9 - or 18-hole course. Players complete a hole by throwing a frisbee at a target from the tee or area, and then throwing it again from where they last threw it until they reach the target. Usually, the number of shots a player takes to reach each goal is calculated (usually related to par), and the player attempts to complete each hole with the minimum total number of shots.
