Third, CNC lathe machining debugging skills

After programming the parts and components, you must do trial cut debugging after setting the tool. In order to prevent errors in the program and errors in the tool setting, which will lead to a collision safety incident, we should first perform empty stroke simulation processing on the CNC lathe. In the coordinate system, the tool is translated to the right by 2-3 times the total length of the component; then the simulation process is started. After the simulation process is successful, the program and tool setting are confirmed, and then the component is processed. The first CNC lathe is successfully processed After that, self-inspection is conducted to confirm that the standard is met, and then a full-time inspection is conducted. After the full-time inspection determines that the standard is met, this indicates that the calibration is completed.

After the first sample tool radius compensation is successful, the batch production will be carried out, but the first sample does not necessarily meet the standard of the entire batch of parts, because during the processing process, the CNC blade will be damaged due to the difference in the processing material. The processing material is soft, the tool damage is small, the processing material is hard, and the tool damage is fast. Therefore, during the processing process, diligent inspection is required to increase and reduce the tool compensation value in time to ensure that the parts meet the standard.

 

Taking a part as an example, the processing material is K414, and the processing length is 180mm. Due to the extremely hard material, the CNC blades are damaged very quickly during the processing. From the beginning to the end, the damage to the CNC blades will definitely cause a slight 10-20mm. Therefore, we need to artificially add 10-20mm in the program, so as to ensure that the parts meet the standard.

 

  The operation skills of CNC lathe machining are a process from shallow to deep, and cannot be achieved overnight. This is based on mastering the basic operations of CNC lathes, basic precision machining knowledge and basic programming knowledge. CNC lathe machining operation skills are not static. This is an organic combination that requires the operator to make full use of imagination and hands-on ability, and is labor with innovative ability.
