Role of precision pipes in liquid dispensing systems: Part 2

What is the role of precision pipe in fluid dispensing system?

Previously, designers used to rely on pumping mechanisms to try to ensure the accuracy of liquid distribution systems because casing manufacturers could not achieve strict tolerances (ID tolerances varied too much even if tubing could be cut accurately)

In other words, if the tolerance of the inside diameter of the stuck casing is greater than the tolerance required to achieve an effective result, a tighter tolerance must be achieved despite the limitations of the stuck casing.

However, with the improved precision and tolerances of pipe cutting today, liquid distribution systems now rely on a combination of pumping and fine determination of long cut tubes to achieve reliable performance.

Advantages of precision clamp casing

To avoid precision problems in liquid distribution systems, it can help to have the following tubes:

Cut to correct length and stretch to desired inside and outside diameters

Has a clean, burn-free ID and a properly cut end

For example, as the sample size gets smaller, so does the destination of the sample. What used to be 16 orifice plates for depositing samples now have 1,500 very small openings in the surface.

This means that the tubes in the liquid distribution system need to be straight, cleanly sheared, and completed correctly at their ends -- for example, flat, tilted or rounded, depending on what is being tested -- so that the tubes are precisely aligned with the very small holes in the test plate.
