At present, with the demand for lightweight cars, more and more aluminum plates are used on the body; lightweight body has a significant effect on reducing fuel consumption, and various OEMs have begun to develop aluminum plate parts: aluminum plates are new materials and new technologies. The application has not been widely used in China. At present, various OEMs are exploring its use process: This article mainly discusses the chip problem and solution in the production process of aluminum plate parts. This article takes the outer plate of the engine cover of our company as an example to discuss how to develop, use and maintain the mold from the aspects of design, debugging and maintenance, and study the chip problem in the production process of aluminum plate parts.
The current car ownership continues to increase. Among them, fuel consumption is increasing environmental pollution. Now major OEMs are applying lightweight technology in automobile manufacturing to reduce automobile fuel consumption. Among them, the application of aluminum plate is an important part of lightweight (the density of pure aluminum is close to 2700k9/m, which is about 35% of the density of iron). As the outer cover of automobiles, the application of aluminum plate can reduce the weight by about 10%. Traditional automobile outer panels are stamped with cold-rolled steel plates, and the technology is mature. At present, most automobile factories are experimenting and exploring the application of aluminum plates. The properties of aluminum are different from those of steel plates, and there is a big difference in process.
