Thrust bearings are used to withstand axial and radial combined loads, but radial loads must not exceed 55% of axial loads. Compared with other thrust roller bearings, the bearing has a low friction factor, a higher speed, and a conditioning performance. The stick of the 29000 type bearing is an asymmetrical spherical roller, which can reduce the relative sliding of the rollers and the rollers in the work, and the rollers are long, large in diameter, the number of rollers is large, the load capacity is high, usually oil lubrication, individual low-speed cases can be grease lubrication. In the design selection, should be preferred, 80000 type thrust cylinder roller bearing, 90000 type thrust cone roller bearing and AXK type thrust roller bearing, can withstand a one-way axial load, it is much larger than the axial load capacity of thrust ball bearings, and the rigidity is large, occupy inglis space is small. Thrust cylinder roller bearings and thrust roller bearings are suitable for low speed situations, and thrust cone roller bearings are slightly higher than thrust cylinder roller bearings.

Plane thrust ball bearings are mainly subject to axial loads during use, and are widely used. Although the installation method of flat thrust ball bearing is relatively simple, but the actual maintenance operation is often a problem, the most common is the bearing tight ring and loose ring installation position is incorrect, resulting in the bearing does not function properly, the shaft neck was quickly damaged. The figure below shows that the tight ring is mounted on the end face of the stationary piece, i.e. the wrong assembly. The inner ring of the tight ring and the shaft neck are the transition inglion, when the shaft rotates, and friction occurs with the end face of the stationary piece, when the axial force (Fx), the frictional moment will be greater than the inner diameter with the resistance moment, resulting in the tight ring and the shaft mating surface forced rotation, aggravating the shaft neck wear.
