The hardness of the retainer is lower than the ball and ring, and its materials are metals (e.g. medium carbon steel, aluminum alloy) or non-metals (e.g. tefrons, PTEF, polymer materials). The rolling bearing has less rotational friction resistance than the journal bearing, so the temperature generated by friction is lower at the same speed.
Ball bearings are generally used in low-load mechanical transmission equipment. Because the carrying area of ball bearings is small, in the case of high-speed operation is very easy to serious mechanical damage, so in the heavy load of mechanical transmission often take the roller bearing to increase the carrying surface, improve the efficiency of mechanical transmission, while reducing mechanical damage.
Ball bearings change the friction of bearings, the use of rolling friction, this method more effectively reduces the friction between bearing surfaces, improve the service life of the fan bearings, and therefore extend the service life of the radiator. The downside is that the process is more complex, costs are higher, and it also leads to higher work noise.
