3. Filtration and circulating filtration equipment

In order to ensure the quality of electroplating, the plating solution needs to be filtered regularly. Some plating species also require continuous filtration during work. Filters are commonly used equipment in the chemical industry, so they are industry-standard equipment. But it is also based on the company's own standards. The filter can be selected according to the plating conditions, the size of the plating tank and the process requirements.

4. Necessary accessories for electroplating tank

The accessories that the electroplating tank must be equipped with include anode and anode basket or anode hook, electrode rod, power connection line, etc. In order to save investment, some factories do not use anode net baskets, and use hooks to directly hang anodes into the plating tank, but at least they need to put on anode sleeves.   Most of the anode baskets are made of titanium, and a few types of plating can also be made of stainless steel or steel.   Electrode rods are conductive rods used to suspend the anode and cathode and connect to the power source. Usually made of red copper rod or brass rod, slightly longer than the plating tank, the diameter is determined by the current size, but at least 5cm or more.   The key to the power cord is to ensure that the required current can pass. It is best to use a copper plate, but also a multi-strand cable. At this time, it must meet the requirements for its cross-sectional area.

5. Hanger

Hanger is the most important auxiliary tool for electroplating processing . It is a tool to ensure a good connection between the electroplated product and the cathode, and it also has a direct impact on the distribution and work efficiency of the electroplating layer. Now there are professional hanger manufacturers and suppliers who provide common hangers in the industry and design and customize hangers according to user needs.

3. Electroplating equipment management

The equipment required for electroplating is mainly a DC power supply, a plating tank, an anode and a power supply wire, as well as a plating solution prepared according to a certain formula. To make the electroplating process have technological or industrial value, the electroplating process needs to be controlled, that is, electroplating must be carried out in accordance with a certain process flow and process requirements, and certain auxiliary equipment and management equipment, such as filtration, must be used. Machines, heating or cooling equipment, testing equipment, testing equipment, etc.   (1) Rectified power supply Compared with other industrial technologies, the equipment of electroplating technology is not only very simple, but also has great flexibility. Taking the power supply as an example, as long as it is a device that can provide DC power, it can be used as a electroplating power supply . Batteries to AC and DC generators, from selenium stacks to silicon rectifiers, from silicon controlled rectifiers to pulsed power supplies, are all power sources available for electroplating. The power can be determined by the surface area of the product to be plated, or the existing power supply can be used to determine the number of products that can be plated per tank.   Of course, the formal electroplating process will use a more reliable silicon rectifier device, and the main indicator is the size and adjustable range of the current value, and the voltage varies from 0 to 15V with current changes. According to the power, single-phase or three-phase input can be selected, which must be moisture-proof and heat-dissipating. Industrial electroplating power supplies generally range from 100A to several thousand amperes. They are usually pre-designed and determined according to production capacity requirements. It is best to use a single tank for single use. Do not use one power supply to supply power to multiple plating tanks. If you only do experiments in the laboratory, you can use a small experimental rectifier power supply of 5 to 1OA.   In 1993, the Ministry of Machinery Industry of my country organized experts to compile the standards for electroplating rectifier equipment (JB/T1504-1993), and made relevant regulations on the models, specifications, and technical parameters of electroplating rectifiers designed and produced in my country. With the advancement of power science and technology, there have been great improvements in the design and manufacture of rectifier power supplies in recent years. Many electroplating power supplies have developed in the direction of multi-function, high power, and small size. Period commutation, adjustable pulse, smooth adjustment, etc. are already common functions. The technical specifications of commonly used air-cooled silicon controlled rectifiers are shown in Table 1.
