Introduction of electroplating equipment
1. Electroplating process equipment
The production process carried out in the electroplating workshop can be divided into three steps, namely surface treatment before plating, electroplating treatment and post-plating treatment. Electroplating process equipment generally refers to the above-mentioned production equipment that directly processes parts. The main processes of surface treatment before plating include polishing, polishing, brushing, barreling, sandblasting, degreasing, rust removal, corrosion, neutralization, and cleaning. According to the material, shape, surface condition and processing requirements of the parts, select the appropriate steps to perform the necessary finishing processing on the surface of the parts to make the parts have a smooth and clean surface. This is an important link in obtaining high-quality coatings. In the pre-plating process, the main equipment used is grinding, polishing machine , brushing machine, sandblasting machine , roller polishing machine and various fixed grooves.
Electroplating is the main process in the entire production process. According to the requirements of the parts, one or several single metal or alloy electroplating processes are selected to perform electroplating or immersion plating on the parts in order to achieve the purpose of corrosion resistance, wear resistance and aesthetics. The equipment used in the electroplating process mainly includes various fixed tanks, barrel plating tanks, hangers , hanging baskets, etc.
Post-plating treatment is to polish, emit light, passivate, color, dry, seal, and remove hydrogen. According to the needs, select one or several processes to make the parts meet the quality requirements. Commonly used equipment for post-plating treatment mainly includes grinding and polishing machines, and various fixed tanks.
2. Electroplating auxiliary equipment
In order to complete the electroplating process according to the process requirements, it is not enough to have a power supply and a plating tank, and there must be some auxiliary equipment to ensure the normal production of electroplating. Including heating or cooling equipment, cathode moving or stirring equipment, plating solution circulation or filtering equipment, and necessary accessories for plating tanks such as electrode rods, electrode wires, anodes and anode baskets, plating hangers, etc.
1. Heating or cooling device
Since the plating solution needs to work at a certain temperature, it is necessary to equip the plating tank with heating equipment. For example, bright nickel plating requires the bath temperature to be maintained at 50°C, chrome plating requires a temperature of 50-60°C, and acidic bright copper plating or bright silver plating requires a temperature within 30°C. In this way, these process requirements need to be met with heat exchange equipment. For heating, direct heating is generally used.
2. Cathode moving or stirring device
Some plating species or most of the plating species require the cathode to be in a swinging state, which can increase the working current, make the plating solution play its due role (usually brightness and dispersion ability), and can prevent the tip and corners from being plated. Hairy, burnt. For some plating species, mechanical or air agitation can be used instead of cathode movement. Mechanical stirring is carried out with a mixer made of corrosion-resistant materials, usually driven by a motor, but the speed should not be too high. Air agitation uses compressed air filtered to remove oil stains.
