How to Install A Butterfly Gasket:

The load characteristic curve reflects the load deformation characteristics of the disc reed. Depending on the size, the full load and the characteristic curve are more or less gradually decreasing into the horizontal state.

In special cases, it can also be designed to be deformed beyond the horizontal state. Disc reeds are commonly used as modular components. A set of single disc reeds are folded in the same direction, called overlapping combined disc reeds, and conversely, a set of disc reeds alternately used in different directions, called the combined disc reed sequining combination, the disc reed group is the same deformation as a single spring, the load for a given amount of deformation is n times a single spring (N- disc reed group in the single spring number). In the case of a combination, the disc reed deformation is the sum of the single spring deformation slot slot in the spring group, and the load is the same as the single spring. The above factors should be taken into account for the deformation and load calculation of the combined disc reed consisting of a single disc reed or spring group.

Disc spring gaskets can obtain an incremental load characteristic curve by combining a folding spring consisting of different disc reeds or a single disc reed of different thicknesses into a disc reed group, in which case the single spring or combination spring will no longer affect the deformation of the spring group after the spring group reaches the flattening position or the limit stroke.
