As far as the transmission principle and application range of the machine tool are concerned, ordinary lathes can only process concentric shafts, but do not have the function of processing eccentric shafts. To process eccentric shafts on ordinary lathes, specific clamping tools and methods must be used. The traditional method is to replace the lathe with a four-jaw chuck and clamp one end of the shaft with the four-jaw chuck. The operator moves two symmetrical jaws and determines the eccentric shaft according to the offset of the symmetrical jaws to the rotation center of the lathe. The amount of eccentricity (calibrated with a dial indicator) is a trial and error method, which requires repeated corrections, and cannot meet the higher accuracy grade and tolerance requirements. If it is batch processing, each axis needs to be corrected for this purpose. Second, the production efficiency is too low and the quality requirements are not met.

Aiming at the shortcomings of the above-mentioned processing technology, we have designed a special fixture for processing eccentric shafts on ordinary lathes. As long as this fixture is installed on the ordinary lathe, it can process eccentric shafts with various eccentric amounts. The fixture has a simple structure , It only needs to be installed once in use, and the workpiece does not need to be adjusted and adjusted. The processing efficiency is high, the general performance is good, and it is suitable for batch processing.
