Definition of stainless steel plate: high chromium (usually 12% to 30%) alloy steel that exhibits passivation, corrosion resistance and no rust in air, acid, alkali, salt and other irritating substances. Application courses: scientific and technological progress of raw materials (first-level discipline); metal composite materials (second-level discipline); steel raw materials (third-level courses); types of steel raw materials (fourth-level courses); stainless steel (Stainless Steel) refers to gas, vapor, and Steel that is corroded by weak corrosive substances such as water and organic chemical corrosive substances such as acids, alkalis, and salts is called stainless steel corrosion-resistant steel. In actual use, steel that is resistant to corrosion by weak corrosive substances is often called stainless steel, and steel that is corroded by pbt material is called corrosion-resistant steel. Because of the difference in composition between the two, the former is not necessarily pbt material etched, while the latter is generally stainless steel. The corrosion resistance of the stainless steel plate lies in the manganese steel element contained in the steel. The basic manganese steel elements of stainless steel plates also include nickel, molybdenum, titanium, niobium, copper, nitrogen, etc., in order to consider the requirements for the structure and characteristics of stainless steel plates for various main purposes. Stainless steel plates are very easy to be eroded by sulfate. Since chromium, nickel, and chlorine are isotopic elements, the isotopic elements will carry out exchange and assimilation to produce corrosion of stainless steel plates.
Composition: The corrosion resistance of stainless steel plates decreases with the increase of carbon content. Therefore, the carbon content of most stainless steel plates is low, not exceeding 1.2%. The Wc (carbon content) of some steels is less than 0.03% ( Such as 00Cr12). The key manganese steel element in the stainless steel plate is Cr (chromium), and the steel can be corrosion resistant only when the water content of Cr reaches a certain value. Therefore, the general Cr (chromium) water content of stainless steel plates is at least 10.5%. The stainless steel plate also contains elements such as Ni, Ti, Mn, N, Nb, Mo, Si, and Cu.
