CNC precision machining, not all materials can be CNC precision machined, some materials are too hard, and the hardness of the machined parts may be broken, so these materials are not suitable for precision machining. , Unless it is a machine made of special materials, or laser cutting.

The materials for precision machining are divided into two categories, metallic materials and non-metallic materials.

For metallic materials, stainless steel has the largest hardness, followed by cast iron, followed by copper, and then aluminum.

The processing of ceramics and plastics is the processing of non-metallic materials.

CNC precision machining

 1. The first is the requirement of the hardness of the material. For some occasions, the higher the hardness of the material, the better. It is only limited to the hardness requirements of the processing machine. The processed material cannot be too hard. If it is harder than the machine, it cannot be processed.

    2. Secondly, the material is moderately soft and hard, at least one grade lower than the hardness of the machine parts, at the same time, it also depends on the function of the processed devices, and the reasonable selection of materials for the machine parts.

In short, there are still some requirements for materials in precision mechanical processing. Not all materials are suitable for processing. For example, materials that are too soft or too hard are not necessary for the former, while the latter cannot be processed.

Therefore, the most basic one is that you must pay attention to the density of the material before processing. If the density is too large, it is equivalent to a high hardness. If the hardness exceeds the hardness of the machine (lathe tool), it cannot be processed, not only Only the parts will be damaged, and it will also cause danger, such as the flying knife falling out and hurting people. Therefore, in general, for mechanical processing, the material is lower than the hardness of the machine knife, so that it can be processed.

What are the machining requirements for Changzhou machinery parts?

For precision parts, the processing is very strict, and the processing procedures include entry and exit. There are specific requirements for size and precision, such as how many micrometers are plus or minus 1mm. If there are too many wrong sizes, it will become a waste product. At this time, it is equivalent to re-processing, which is time-consuming and laborious, and sometimes even makes the entire processed material scrapped. This caused an increase in costs, and at the same time, the parts were definitely unusable.

The processing of precision parts is mainly based on dimensional requirements. For example, what is the diameter of the cylinder, there are strict requirements, and the positive and negative errors are within the specified requirements to be qualified parts, otherwise they are all unqualified parts; length, width and height are also specific and strict Requirements, positive and negative errors are also specified, such as an inline cylinder (take the simplest basic parts as an example), if the diameter is too large and exceeds the allowable range of the error, it will cause a situation where it cannot be inserted. If the diameter is too small, and the error exceeds the lower limit of the allowable negative value, it will cause the insertion to be too loose and the problem of infirmity will occur. These are unqualified products, or the length of the cylinder is too long or too short, which exceeds the allowable range of the error. They are all unqualified products. They must be scrapped or reprocessed, which will inevitably cause an increase in cost.

The above are the requirements for the processing of precision parts, and the most important size problem. It must be processed in strict accordance with the additional drawings. The actual size of the processing will definitely not be the same as the theoretical size of the drawing, but as long as the processing size is in error Qualified parts are within the allowable range, so the requirement for precision parts processing is to strictly follow the theoretical dimensions.

The second is advanced precision parts processing equipment and testing equipment. Advanced processing equipment makes it easier to process precision parts, with higher accuracy and better results. The testing equipment can detect the parts that do not meet the requirements, so that all products sent to customers can truly meet the requirements.
