If the condition of the mill itself remains unchanged, the diameter and rotation speed of the mill cannot be changed, so adjustments in this area can be ignored. The commonly used steel rod model is 60-90. In order to increase the breaking capacity, the steel rod of 100 is in trial.

At the same time, frequent addition and less addition should be carried out in production to coordinate the internal base distribution of steel bars. Increasing the ore breaking capacity by changing the diameter of the steel rod is also a favorable way to change the production capacity of the mill.


Grinding ore size

The ore enters the rod mill to be crushed, and the particle size of the ore that is ground by humans has a great influence on the productivity of the rod mill. The general requirement for grinding ore is below 30mm, and the capacity of a 3.2m×4.5m mill is generally about 120 tons. If the particle size of the ore into the ground is reduced to below 25mm, the capacity of the mill will increase by about 15 tons, and the material consumption of the mill will be greatly reduced. This is also to follow the requirements of more breaks and less grinding in alumina production, thereby creating higher economic value.
