Effect of Aluminum Aalloy Composition on the Quality of the Anode Film Layer of Sulfuric Acid:

The composition of aluminum alloy (all refers to mass fraction) has a great influence on the appearance, thickness and tightness of the film layer. Pure aluminum film layer transparent, good gloss, thick and dense. For aluminum magnesium alloy, when the magnesium content is less than 3% in the form of solid solute, the effect on membrane quality is not significant, and when the content is higher than 3%, the alloy has Mg5A18 second phase profiling. It dissolves easily when anode, making the film inefficient, thin film layer, uniformity and gloss are poor.


For aluminum alloys containing silicon, when the silicon content is less than 0. 8% and manganese-free, the effect on the anode process is small, can produce a glossy colorless oxide film, when the silicon content is greater than 2%, the anode film gray or even gray black. The film layer produced by the cast aluminum alloy containing 10% to l2% of silicon is unevenly colored.


For aluminum-copper alloys, a copper content greater than 4% is the presence of a second phase with CuAl2 or CuAl2Mg. They are easy to dissolve in the process of anodization, so that its film layer is thin and uneven thickness, porosity is high, hardness is low, film layer with green, no gloss, often with color spots, poor coloring effect, in severe cases, loose film layer. For aluminum and zinc alloys, zinc is the main alloy element of super-hard aluminum, the content is greater than 5%. The presence of zinc allows the end voltage of alloy anodization to be 3V lower than that of pure aluminum. The limit thickness of the film is thin, the appearance is somewhat gray.
