Therefore, CNC processing has been widely concerned, but in terms of cost savings, CNC processing is still higher than the traditional processing costs. Let's give a specific introduction to the difference between CNC processing and traditional machining processing.
1. Processing process.
In the ordinary machining process, whether it is positioning benchmark, clamping method, tool, cutting method and so on can be simplified processing, but the data processing process is more complex, need to fully consider these factors, and even if the same processing tasks, CNC machining process can have a number of programs, can be a number of processing parts and machining tools as the main line of the process arrangement, the process has a variety of characteristics, which is the difference between CNC processing process and traditional machining process.
2. Clamps and fixtures.
In CNC processing process, it is not only necessary to ensure the relatively fixed coordinate direction of the fixture and machine tool, but also to coordinate the dimensional relationship between the part and the machine tool coordinate system. In the clamping process, the two steps of positioning and clamping need to be effectively controlled. And under the traditional machining process, due to the limited processing capacity of the machine tool itself, it is necessary to carry out multiple clamping in the process. And the need to use special fixtures, which leads to the fixture in the design and manufacture of higher costs, invisibly increased production costs of products. And CNC process positioning can use instruments for commissioning, in most cases do not need to carry out special fixture design, so relatively low cost.
3. Tools.
During machining, the choice of tools needs to be determined according to the machining process and machining methods. Especially in CNC processing, the use of high-speed cutting is not only conducive to the improvement of processing efficiency, but also the quality of processing can be guaranteed, effectively reduce the chance of cutting deformation, so that the processing cycle is shortened, so the demand for cutting tools under tell cutting further increased.
There is also a dry cutting method, which is cut without cutting fluid or with only a small amount of cutting fluid, so the tool is required to have good heat resistance. Compared with ordinary machining process, CNC machining process has high requirements for tool performance.
