The oxidation treatment of aluminum and its alloys is divided into chemical oxidation and electrochemical oxidation (commonly known as anode oxidation). For decorative purposes, coloring is often required, and the methods of coloring are divided into chemical coloring and electrolyte coloring.

 

The film layer obtained by chemical oxidation treatment is relatively thin, and the general thickness is 0. 5 m - 4 m, soft and wear-resistant, corrosion resistance is lower than anode oxide film, generally should not be used alone. Because the chemical oxide film adsorption ability is good, the main role of the paint bottom.

 

Anode oxidation film thickness of about 5 - 20 microns (hard anode oxide film thickness of up to 60 - 200 microns), with a higher hardness, good heat resistance and insulation, corrosion resistance is higher than chemical oxide film, porous, has a good adsorption capacity.

 

Chemical oxidation treatment required equipment is simple, easy to operate, high production efficiency and low cost, a wide range of applications, not limited by the size and shape of parts, can oxidize large parts and assembly parts (e.g. spot welds, riveting parts, e.g. e.g. e., long pipes). After chemical oxidation, it can effectively improve the corrosion resistance of parts.

 

The comprehensive performance of aluminum anode oxide film is better than that of chemical oxide film, and its application is more widely used, the main uses are:

 

(1) Protection. Improve the wear, corrosion and climate corrosion resistance of parts.

 

(2) Decorative. The cost of making colored light film, as a color film.

 

(3) Insulation. As a capacitor medium film, aluminum wire roll insulation film, per micron thickness can withstand 25V voltage.

 

(4) Improve the binding force with organic coating, for coating the bottom layer.

 

(5) Improve the binding force with inororable covering layer, for electroplating, enamel bottom.

 

(6) Other functional uses under development, depositing magnetic alloys into porous membranes as memory elements, solar absorption panels, ultra-high epidurals, dry lubrication membranes, vector membranes, etc.

 

Therefore, the oxidation treatment of aluminum and its alloys has been widely used in the construction industry, aviation and aerospace industry, electrical and electronic industry, food industry, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, transportation industry and other fields. At the same time, with the development of these industries, their requirements for anode oxidation are getting higher and higher.
