In the production of intermediate frequency bending pipe, the convex edge of pipe wall is thinned by tension and the concave edge of pipe wall is thickened by compression, resulting in the uneven phenomenon of pipe wall thickness. A 180 elbow with small radius (R≈D) and thin wall (t/D≈0.015) with uniform wall thickness can be produced by using this technology, which is impossible to be achieved by other bending processes. If the design of various process parameters is reasonable, the process can ensure that the wall thickness of each part of the bending process is always unchanged, that is, it is always equal to the wall thickness of straight billet before deformation. Using this process, the same diameter of 45°, 90°, 180° and other bending angles can be made by pushing the same horn mandrel at one time, and the production efficiency is high.
