In fact, after we finished the production of the bending part, in order to ensure its quality and performance, we need to carry out a series of tests. In the course of the inspection, we decided to check the compactness individually. At present, eddy current flaw detection technology is mainly used to detect the tightness of the bending workpiece.

After testing the compacting parameters, check the outer diameter and wall thickness of the product to ensure that the outer diameter and wall thickness of the bending workpiece are within the allowable deviation and meet the corresponding regulations and requirements. In general, the allowable deviation of outer diameter is +0.50mm-0.20mm, and the allowable deviation of wall thickness is +0.97mm-0.77mm. Before this, we also need to check its appearance and quality, mainly the degree of elbow processing, should be within 1.0m /m/m.

It is also necessary to ensure that the ends of the benders are perpendicular to the axis and to remove burrs above the cut. After that, we need to check its weight. In our work, we can deliver goods according to actual weight or theoretical weight. In theory, the theoretical weight per meter of workpiece should be 13.115 kg/m.

We also need to check the actual length of the bending part, of course, this is mainly based on the negotiation between the supply and demand to determine the final length requirements. In addition, the allowable deviation of finished product chemical composition in the workpiece also needs to comply with relevant regulations. For the state of delivery, we can use hot rolled state delivery.

In addition to the above requirements, we actually need to test the mechanical properties of the bending part. It is generally required that the mechanical properties of the bending workpiece shall meet the requirements of API Spec 5CT Class N80 steel after appropriate fly heat treatment.
