In general, the grinder of the blade grinding tool commonly used in the factory is the tool-cutting grinder, also known as the universal tool grinder. Because the tool material is very hard, it is generally only used to change the shape of the tool. There are several common tool grinders in tool manufacturing and grinding:

 

1, grinding machine: grinding drill bit, end milling cutter slot or back of the tool.

 

2, grinding top anglemachine: grinding drill bit of the cone-shaped top angle (or eccentric rear corner).

 

3, cross-blade machine: correct the cross-edge of the drill bit.

 

4, manual universal tool grinder: grinding outer circle, groove, back, top angle, cross-edge, plane, front knife face and so on. Often used in a small number of complex lying tools.

 

5, CNC grinder: generally five-axis linkage, function determined by the software. Generally used for grinding a large number of precision requirements, but not complex tools, such as drill bits, end milling cutters, reaming knives and so on. The main suppliers of such grinders come from Germany, Switzerland, the United States, Australia and Japan.

 

In the process of machining, the clamping of the car knife directly affects the dimensional accuracy and surface roughness of the processing. If we do not pay attention to the correct installation of the tool, it will reduce the cutting effect and even damage the tool and workpiece. At the same time, edge grinding is also an important aspect to improve tool life and reduce production costs.

 

Therefore, in the cutting edge grinding process should pay attention to these matters.

 

Mass production timing grip knife does not necessarily meet the turning requirements, generally according to the pattern requirements of their own blade grinding knife, cutting edge grinding should pay attention to the following aspects:

 

(1) The choice of grinding wheel: alumina grinding wheel (white) is suitable for the blade-grinding high-speed steel car knife and carbide caricate knife knife part. (Green) silicon carbide grinding wheel is suitable for cutting carbide head. Choosing coarser grains during rough grinding can increase productivity. The selection of finer grains during fine grinding can reduce surface roughness.

 

(2) Dressing of the grinding wheel: the grinding wheel surface is trimmed with a grinding wheel knife, sand strip or a gold pen before the cutting edge is worn, with a little pressure and movement back and forth during the dressing.

 

(3) The knife must be controlled at the center of the grinding wheel level. The tip of the knife is raised by about 3 to 8 degrees, and the grinding wheel contact with the knife should move horizontally in the left and right directions. When the knife leaves the grinding wheel, the tip of the knife needs to be lifted up to prevent the sharpened blade from being hit by the grinding wheel. When grinding the rear, the tail of the bar is tilted to the left at an angle of the main angle, and when grinding the rear corner, the tail of the bar is deflected to the right by a side angle. When grinding the sharp arc of the knife, it is usually left-hand holding the front end of the car knife as the fulcrum, with the right hand to turn the rear of the car knife.

 

(4) When grinding the knife, both hands of the car knife, light lying against the grinding wheel rotating surface, and the horizontal direction of the left and right slow movement, so as to avoid the grinding wheel surface pit, until the edge grinding angle is completed.

 

(5) When grinding carbide cartool, do not put the head part of the knife into water to cool, in order to prevent the blade suddenly cool edire and break.

 

Blade high-speed steel car knife must be watered down at all times to prevent annealing.

 

(6) Rough grinding: grinding the main rear, while grinding out the main angle and the main rear angle;

 

At the same time grind out the secondary angle and the secondary rear angle;

 

(7) Fine grinding: grinding front, grinding master behind and after the deputy, grinding knife tip arc.

 

(8) Grinding: after the cutting edge of the knife, its cutting edge is sometimes not smooth enough, at this time with oil stone plus a small amount of oil to grind the cutting edge, can improve the durability of the tool and the surface of the workpiece processing quality. Grind the oil stone with the knife face flat, and then the oil stone along the knife surface down or left and right. Grinding requires smooth action, uniform force, can not destroy the blade grinding edge.

 

(9) Through the visual inspection method, model method, angle measurement instrument to check whether the tool meets the requirements, can also be tested. When mass production, the blade of the blade is ground to meet the design turning requirements, without turning the knife holder or less turning the tool holder to complete as much work as possible to maximize the processing efficiency. However, the operator is more demanding and needs to be summarized and improved in the work.
