Bending Pipe Forming Process-die Forging

Die forging. For socket welding and threaded three-way, four-way, elbow small size pipe fittings, the shape is relatively messy, and the die forging process should be used. The blanks used in die forging should be rolled profiles, such as bars, thick-walled pipes or plates. When using steel ingots as raw materials, the steel ingots should be rolled into bars in advance or used as die forging blanks after forging to eliminate the segregation and porosity in the steel ingots. After being heated, the blank is put into the die for forging, and the pressure causes the metal to move and fill the cavity; if the blank after die forging has flash, the process of punching off the flash is required to complete all the forging operations.
