Angle Contact Ball Bearing Maintenance Method

1. When the bearing runs to a certain period of time (or maintenance period), the bearing will be all removed;

2. With cleaning diesel or kerosene soaked cleaning bearings, if there are technical conditions, the best to open the seal inge cleaning;

3. After cleaning air dry cleaning oil, appearance check for damage;

4. With a 150mm or so, the diameter of the angle contact ball bearing internal diameter is equal to the wooden rod (preferably a hollow tube), one end fixed a bearing;

5. While turning the bearing quickly by hand, the other end of the wooden stick (wood tube) is on the ear or on the audio amplifier microphone to sound the noise of the bearing rotation;

6. Fixed the bearing after the horizontal dial the wooden rod, check whether the bearing is wear loose phenomenon;

7. Loose serious, excessive rotation noise, there is a serious defect of FAG bearings should be eliminated, to the same model instead;

8. Take a bucket of grease (high-quality yellow dry oil) with a fire melting (not overheating), the detected bearings into the bucket soaked to no bubble overflow. Remove the bearings before the grease is cooled, with little residual grease. After the grease is cooled, the angle contact ball bearing is removed, and the amount of grease remains is large. Determine the amount of grease residue as needed.

9. Wipe the grease outside the bearing with a soft cloth or toilet paper to assemble the FAG bearing in the same condition to the sheave, the maintenance work will end.
