What is the appearance of lines on the surface of the workpiece processed by the grinder

During the grinding process, there are often lines on the surface of the processed workpiece, which affects the accuracy and the appearance. According to experience, there are roughly three situations:
The surface has irregular lines and scratches: This is mainly due to the problem of the grinding fluid and filter system used, which causes the particles and abrasive debris dropped by the grinding wheel to circulate in the grinding fluid and scratch the surface of the workpiece. At this time, the grinding fluid should be replaced, or a filtering device should be added.
The appearance of spiral lines on the surface is due to the following aspects:
1. When dressing the grinding wheel, the grinding wheel is convex at the exit. When the workpiece comes out of the grinding area, it is just polished to the surface by the convex point, forming a spiral pattern. The solution is: you can repair the exit wheel more or use a file to round the edge of the exit wheel.
2. A small crack appears in the alloy part of the blade that holds up the workpiece, resulting in a matt surface and a roughening phenomenon. Need to sharpen the blade or replace it.
3. The uneven hardness of the bonding agent of the grinding wheel leads to uneven threshing of the grinding wheel. If the sand repair still cannot be improved, the grinding wheel needs to be replaced.
4. The feeding speed or discharging speed is inconsistent with the rotating speed normally adjusted by the guide wheel (it is easy to appear when there is an automatic feeding device). Need to adjust the feed and the speed of the guide wheel to feed some.
5. When adjusting the inclination angle of the guide wheel and hitting R, the relative position of the axis of the grinding wheel deviates, which needs to be corrected again.
Oscillation marks appear on the surface: mainly caused by vibration of the machine itself or oscillation during the grinding of the workpiece.
1. The operation of the grinding wheel itself is unstable, it may be that the grinding wheel flange is not clamped correctly, or the dynamic balance is not adjusted well. This requires new installation of grinding wheels and adjustment of balance.
2. The bearings in the spindle are worn or improperly adjusted, which causes the grinding wheel to vibrate. The bearing clearance should be readjusted or replaced.
3. The vibration of other equipment is transmitted to the grinder and causes resonance. It needs to stay away from other vibration sources or dig anti-vibration trenches.
4. Due to the increase of the center height of the supporting wood blade, the blade will not vibrate when the workpiece passes. The screws holding the blade need to be tightened.
5. The spindle of the grinding wheel is driven by the motor through the triangle conveyor belt. The length of the triangle belt is different or there is wear, which causes the vibration of the machine tool. Need to check and replace.
6. The center of the workpiece is too high. The grinding wheel presses the workpiece toward the blade through the grinding force, and the component force of the guide wheel decreases, causing uneven force on the workpiece and causing vibration. At this time, the center height of the blade should be reduced.
