What is Seamless Aluminium Tube?

The extruded tube reaches its final size through a hot extrusion process and can be seamless or non-seamless (structured tube). Compared with the slit pipe (structural pipe), the seamless aluminum tube is a pipe without any welds.

Our professional process for seamless tube manufacturing starts with extruding hollow pipes or solid bars drilled to our strict specifications. Pride seamless tubes are produced using two methods. One method is to push the hollow aluminum billet through the mold and mandrel press with great force at high temperature. Another method is to pass a solid blank through a punch press, and then the mandrel pierces and extrudes the blank in the second forward stroke. No matter which method is used, the tube has no welds or seams, making it ideal for anodizing and other finishing procedures.

In addition, Pride also provides stretched aluminum tubes, which are seamlessly extruded and drawn to the final size through a die. It can provide higher precision tolerances and thinner wall thickness than extruded tubes.
