Powder spraying is a coating which is used as a free flowing dry powder. The main difference is that a conventional liquid coating and a powder coating are powder coatings that do not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in the liquid. The suspension form is usually applied electrostatically, and then cured under heating to make it flow and form "skin ". The powder can be a thermoplastic or thermosetting polymer. It is usually used to create a hard paint that is harder than traditional paint.
Powder spraying process
1. Partial preparation or pre-treatment
2. Powder application
3. Curing
Advantages of dusting
1. Powder coating contains no solvent and releases little or no content of volatile organic compound (VOC) atmosphere. Therefore, repairers no longer need to purchase expensive pollution control equipment. Companies can more easily and economically comply with EPA regulations.
2. Powder coatings can produce many thicker coatings than conventional liquid coatings without flowing or sagging.
3. Powder coatings generally have a smaller difference in appearance between horizontally coated surfaces and vertically coated surfaces than liquid coated items.
4. Wide range of professional effects Easy to achieve with other coating processes using powder coatings that are impossible to use.
