Single-row cylindrical roller bearings are usually only subject to radial force, compared with the same size ball bearings, radial carrying capacity increased 1.5-3 times, rigid, impact-resistant, it is particularly suitable for rigid support, but also support short shafts, heat elongation and cause axial displacement of shaft displacement shafts and installation removal needs to separate the bearing machine attachment. Mainly used for large-scale motors, machine tool spindles, engine front and rear support shafts, train bus box shaft support, diesel crankshaft, car tractor transmission and so on.
Single-row conical roller bearings are mainly used to withstand radial and axial combined loads, while large cone-angled disc roller bearings (27 to 30 degrees) can withstand axial-based combined loads, but generally not suitable for pure axial loads.
Single-row conical roller bearings can be arbitrarily adjusted diameter, axial play, or pre-profit installation to increase bearing rigidity during installation and use. The size of the disc roller bearing play directly affects the performance of the bearing. When the gap is too long, the temperature rises higher, when the play gap is too large, the vibration increases, and the rotation accuracy is difficult to guarantee. Therefore, during installation and use, special attention should be paid to adjusting the play of the bearings.
In order to prevent the roller strain concentration at the contact with the roller strain, resulting in premature bearing damage, the shaft is not allowed to tilt relative to the housing hole during installation, only when the roller and the raceway bus line are in contact with the correction line, can a small amount of tilt can be allowed. Since there will be additional forceunders under radial load, two sets of single-row conical roller bearings are generally installed in the two supports of the shaft, making the inner and outer rings of the bearing seision opposite.
Conical roller bearings are used in automotive rear axle wheels, large machine spindles, high-power gearboxes, rollers of conveyors, etc.
