CNC milling machine processing mainly includes ultra-precision turning, mirror grinding and grinding. CNC milling machine processing benchmarks refer to those points, lines, and surfaces that are used to determine the geometric relationship between geometric elements on the production object. According to different functions and applications, benchmarks can be divided into two categories: design benchmarks and process benchmarks. Process benchmarks can be further divided into: process benchmarks, positioning benchmarks, measurement benchmarks and assembly benchmarks.
The primary prerequisite for CNC milling machine processing is the accuracy of the process datum. The datums on the mechanical drawings are all represented by a specific circled datum symbol with capital letters A, B, C, D, etc. When the datum symbol is aligned with the surface and When the extension line of the surface or the size limit of the surface, it means that the surface is the reference. When the reference symbol is aligned with the dimension line, it means that the entity centerline of the dimension is used as the reference. I mentioned for you that the precision of the craft is a more general term.
Assembly datum refers to the precision used to determine the position of a part in a component or product during assembly.
