What are the 4 types of stainless steel?

Each different type of stainless steel has its own advantages, but also its own disadvantages. Generally, all types of stainless steel are classified into one of four groups. These groups are as follows:

1. Austenite

2. Ferrite

3. Duplex

4. Martensite
