Is abrasive water tool method meaningful for 2-axis metal cutoff?

The roots of modern waterknife cutting, which uses water (albeit at a relatively low pressure) to cut soft materials such as paper and food, date back to the 1930s. Due to the development of high pressure technology and equipment, today's abrasive process can perform precision metal cutting.

However, is water jet cutting meaningful for 2 axis cutting of small metal parts? Evaluating the pros and cons of the process is critical to determining whether the approach meets your needs.
