Walter Has Introduced a New Tool Material for Machining ISO K and ISO H-group Materials.

Walter introduced two new transposable inserts of The CBN tool material WBK20 and WBK30 to the market for turning the ISO H and ISO K group materials: WBK20 (grain size 3.0?m) for cast iron finishing; The WBK30 (grain size 10.0?m) is used for ISO Group ISo material processing with high metal removal rates and finishing in severe intermittent cutting. These two CBN materials are made from a base with a high CBN content and are also suitable for roughing and finishing of burning gold. The WBK20 transposable blade has a welding head. The "CBN head" is firmly attached to the tip of the blade by vacuum welding. The WBK30 tool material made from a full CBN substrate enables higher cutting speeds and thus increases the efficiency of the insert in cast iron machining.
