Titanium tube with shape memory

For applications that require shape memory, you might also consider offering titanium tubes in the form of NiTi or NiTi (also known as nickel-titanium), its own separate product category.

While in theory the material is a 50/50 mixture of nickel and titanium, NiTi was never like that. In fact, NiTi is always a custom blend with no ASTM specifications and each manufacturer has its own unique and proprietary formula.

NiTi is commonly used in the manufacture of medical catheters requiring high flexibility and resistance to kinking, such as guide wires, stents and hyperelastic needles for microsurgery. The material also has excellent corrosion resistance if handled properly.
