The team of micro-na no-human systems at the Shanghai Autonomous Intelligent Unmanned Systems Science Center, led by Tongji University, has developed a bionic micro-surgical robot that can be used for medical target microvascular thrombosis. The research paper was published online in the journal Advanced Materials.
Blood clots of large blood vessels can be attached to tube thrombosis, but microvascular thrombosis is helpless. Micro-robots are in a low-Reynolds environment in the human body and need to provide continuous external driving forces for driving. A single micro-robot can't meet the requirements of medical applications, so the development of a new type of software medical micro-robot with biocompatibility, effective driving and precise control, and cluster control ability has been a hot topic of research.
According to reports, this small volume, containing the drug of the bionic surgical robot, under the command of the additional magnetic field, gathered in the thrombosis site, generating heat and force field, become an efficient microvascular thrombosis scavenger. Bionic micro-surgical robot safety, precise motion control, for the ultra-minimally invasive thrombosis removal provides a new medical method.
