Once processed, the data matrix code must be applied to each component using a labeled laser. As a system manufacturer, EGS Automatisierungstechnik is responsible for ensuring laser safety. This can be achieved through appropriate protection on the grip tool and appropriate sensor technology that reliably monitors whether the laser can only operate when the protection grille reliably covers the marking area. During the marking process, the robot secures the workpiece firmly in place and draws away all the steam that will be generated. After successful marking, the robot puts the finished parts back into the workpiece bay and places them on pallets and stacks them on the finished pile in the stacking system. Set up and remove the stack of workpieces and finished parts on one of the operating sides of the system.
The robot controller accepts commands.
All processes are controlled by the YRC1000 robot controller, and the entire system is operated by the robot's handheld device. Profinet acts as an interface between two computers. The cycle time of the system is even slightly reduced, so the robot is now faster than the first machine, which determines the cycle time.
