The principle of choice of measures.
The selected measuring instrument should start from the technical and economical point of view, so that its type, specification selection and the shape, position, size of the work piece, the parameter characteristics under test to adapt to the measurement characteristics (such as maximum allowable error, stability, measurement range, sensitivity, resolution, etc.) to meet the predetermined requirements, not only sufficient, but also high, but also with the choice of measurement methods at the same time.
1. According to the work parts processing batch: small batch selection of ordinary measuring instruments;
2. According to the structure and weight of the work piece: light and simple work parts, can be placed on the gauge measurement, major complex work pieces to use the upper gauge, that is, the gauge to get the work piece measurement.
3. Determine the specifications of the measuring instrument according to the size and requirements of the work item size. In order for the measuring instrument's measuring range to accommodate the work piece, the measuring head can reach into the area under test.
4. Select the measuring instrument according to the error (tolerance) required by the work piece. Usually the maximum allowable error of the measuring instrument is 1/3 to 1/10 of the workman's tolerance. If the measured work piece belongs to the measuring equipment, it must be selected with its tolerance 1/10, if the measured work piece is a general product, then its tolerance is selected 1/3 to 1/5, if the measuring instrument conditions do not allow, it can also be 1/2 of its tolerance, but at this time the confidence level of the measurement results is correspondingly reduced.
5. When choosing sensitivity, we should pay attention to the measurement instrument sensitivity too low will affect the accuracy of the measurement, too high and difficult to achieve the balance state in time.
