The locking assembly includes pins or other fastening means, preferably attached to the angled arm members and secured to the collar or housing by screws, pins, bolts or other fastening means. Depress the actuator button to press a pin or other detent device into the selected hole in the inner tube to adjust the length of the telescoping rod or handle as needed.
