Today, I will mainly explain the function of each button on the operation panel of the machining center, so that students can master the adjustment of the machining center and the preparation work before processing, as well as the program input and modification methods. Finally, taking a specific part as an example, the basic operation process of machining parts in the machining center is explained, so that students have a clear understanding of the operation of the machining center.
One, processing requirements
Process the parts shown in the drawing. The material of the parts is LY12, single-piece production. The part blank has been machined to size.

2. Preparations
Complete relevant preparations before processing, including process analysis and process route design, tool and fixture selection, programming, etc.
3. Operation steps and content
1. Turn on, and each coordinate axis manually returns to the machine origin
2, tool preparation
Choose a Φ20 end mill, a Φ5 center drill, and a Φ8 twist drill according to the processing requirements, and then use the collet chuck to clamp the Φ20 end mill, the tool number is set to T01, and the drill chuck to clamp the Φ5 center Drill, Φ8 twist drill, the tool number is set to T02, T03, install the tool setting tool edge finder on the collet chuck handle, and set the tool number to T04.
3. Put the tool holder with the clamped tool into the tool magazine manually, namely
1) Input "T01 M06" and execute
2) Manually install the T01 tool on the spindle
3) Follow the above steps to put T02, T03, T04 into the tool magazine
4. Clean the workbench, install fixtures and workpieces
Clean the flat vise and install it on a clean workbench. Use a dial indicator to align and level the vise, and then install the workpiece on the vise.
5. Tool setting, confirm and input workpiece coordinate system parameters
1) Use the edge finder to set the tool to determine the zero offset value in X and Y direction, and set the zero offset value in X and Y direction
is input into the workpiece coordinate system G54, the Z-direction offset value in G54 is input as 0;
2) Place the Z-axis setter on the upper surface of the workpiece, call out the No. 1 tool from the tool magazine and install it on the spindle, use this tool to determine the Z-direction offset value of the workpiece coordinate system, and input the Z-direction offset value To the length compensation code corresponding to the machine tool, the "+" and "-" signs are determined by G43 and G44 in the program. If the length compensation command in the program is G43, input the Z-direction zero offset value of "-" to the machine tool In the length compensation code;
3) Input the Z-direction offset value of No. 2 and No. 3 tools into the corresponding length compensation code of the machine tool in the same step.

The processing program generated by the computer is transmitted to the memory of the machine tool numerical control system through the data line.
7, debug processing program
Adopt the method of moving the workpiece coordinate system along the +Z direction, that is, raising the tool for debugging.
1) Debug the main program, check whether the 3 tools have completed the tool change action according to the process design;
2) Debug the 3 subroutines corresponding to the 3 tools respectively, and check whether the tool movement and processing path are correct.
8. Automatic processing
After confirming that the program is correct, restore the Z value of the workpiece coordinate system to the original value, turn the rapid traverse override switch and cutting feed override switch to low gear, press the CNC start key to run the program and start processing. Pay attention to the tool path and remaining moving distance during processing.
9. Take off the workpiece and inspect it
Choose the vernier caliper for size inspection, and perform quality analysis after inspection.
