Successful Smelting of 100 Tons of Cr12 Electric Slag Ingots

The 100-ton Cr12 electric slag is mainly used for the key components of supercritical generator sets - high-grade pressure rotor forgings. This kind of rotor forging son-in-import has long been dependent on imports, which has become one of the bottlenecks restricting the complete localization of the casting forgings of super-supercritical units. The successful production of 100-ton Cr12 electric slag ingots has laid a solid foundation for the localization of ultra-supercritical high-grade pressure rotor forgings.

From the first smelting in 2019, a success, to today's product line, batch, a short time of time, the national machine reloaded by excellent smelting technology, independent intellectual property rights, completed the super-supercritical rotor forgings, combustion wheel forgings, "Hualong 1" nuclear power unit and other core forgings manufacturing, leading the domestic high-end forging manufacturing technology and quality level.
