Stainless steel is available in a variety of medical grades, offering:

Reasonable cost

Strength of materials

Corrosion resistance

Precision molding and machining ability

The selection of suitable medical grade stainless steel for a specific application is a key aspect in the design and production of medical device tubing. This choice can have an impact on important performance characteristics such as abrasion or chemical resistance, hardness, flexibility and durability.

Just as important, wrong choices can lead to big problems. For example, incompatible tubing can chemically alter the fluid flowing through the pipe or cause the liquid to bond to the wall, resulting in failure of delivery.

Therefore, when specifying stainless steel or any material for medical device tubing, it is critical to look beyond cost per se and consider what is required for a particular purpose.

For example, does medical device tubing need to be highly resistant to liquids or other materials to be exposed? Will the device be implanted and therefore need to be biocompatible and corrosion resistant?Pride processing products in Europe and the United States, Japan and South Korea, the Middle East, Southeast Asia are widely praised.
