Electroplating is a process of electroplating other metals or alloys in a thin layer on some metal surfaces using the principle of electrolysis. Metal or other materials made by electrolysis adhere to the surface of a process part of a metal film to prevent metal oxidation. Electroplating can enhance the corrosion resistance of metals (coated metals are mainly corrosion-resistant metals), increase hardness, prevent wear, improve electrical conductivity, smoothness, heat resistance and beautiful surfaces.
