1. The surface of carburized wheel forgings shall not have defects such as rust, dirt, cracks and scars.

2. For the parts of the wheel forgings that do not need carburization, the surface can be plated with copper or coated with anti-seepage paint to prevent carburization. If the machining allowance is within the range, it can also be cut and removed after carburization. The thickness of the copper plating layer should generally be greater than 0.03mm; the thickness of the anti-carburizing coating should generally be greater than 0.3mm, and the coating must be dense.
