Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Prevention said more than 60,000 people in Japan had been laid off as of the 23rd because of the new crown outbreak, Kyodo News reported. Among them, manufacturing laid off the most people. According to reports, a total of 60,439 people in Japan, including the estimated number, have been laid off as a result of the outbreak, an accelerated increase from the previous one, which first exceeded 10,000 on May 21st, 20,000 on June 4th, and then increased at a rate of about 10,000 a month. In just over 20 days since August 31st, when it exceeded 50,000, another 10,000 people have been added. In response, the report said, because the economy has long stagnated, the inability of companies to sustain will lead to people being laid off and stopped hiring.
