1. Material and structure of processed parts
The degree of CNC machining deformation is directly proportional to the complexity of shape, length, width and wall thickness. And it is also proportional to the rigidity and stability of the material. Therefore, when designing parts, the influence of these factors on deformation should be reduced. Then, for some parts with larger structure, a reasonable structure should be designed to reduce deformation.
2. Clamp
First, we need to choose the correct clamping point. Then, select the appropriate clamping force at this position, and keep the clamping point and the supporting point in a straight line, so that the clamping force will act on the supporting point. It is important that the clamping point be as close as possible to the machined surface, and choose a location where the force is not likely to cause deformation.
When there are multiple clamping forces on the processed parts, we need to pay attention to the order of the clamping forces. First, it should act on the clamping force and support point of the machined part, and then on the clamping force of the cutting force.
Then, the contact area between the processed part and the fixture should be increased, and the axial clamping force should be used to increase the rigidity of the processed part.
3. Processing
During the cutting process, due to the cutting force, the processed parts will produce elastic deformation. For similar deformations, we can use harp cutting tools. On the one hand, it can reduce the resistance between the tool and the machined part, on the other hand, it can improve the heat dissipation capacity of the tool when cutting the machined part, thereby reducing the residual internal stress of the machined part.
The heat generated by the friction between the cutting tool and the machined part also deforms the machined part. Usually, we can use high-speed machining to effectively reduce deformation.
In order to ensure the accuracy of the processed parts, we should use a reasonable amount of cutting. In addition, when machining thin-walled parts with high accuracy, symmetrical machining is usually adopted. Because it can balance the relative stress on both sides, it can achieve a stable state and smooth the processed parts.
