Understand CNC machining center friends know that the accuracy of CNC machining center affects the quality of processing, so on the accuracy of CNC machining center, the industry has also been studying the method to reduce and remove the error. If you are a novice, how to judge the accuracy of CNC machining center?

1. Positioning of vertical CNC machining center specimens:

The specimen should be located in the middle of the X stroke, and along the Y and Z axes in the appropriate position for specimen and fixture positioning and tool length placement. When there is a special requirement for the positioning position of the specimen, it shall be specified in the agreement between the manufacturer and the user.

2. The fixation of the specimen:

The specimen should be conveniently installed on a special fixture to achieve the maximum stability of the tool and fixture. The mounting surface of fixture and specimen should be straight.

The parallelism between the mounting surface of the specimen and the clamping surface should be checked. Appropriate gripping methods should be used so that the tool can penetrate the full length of the CNC machining center hole. It is recommended to use countersunk screw to fix the specimen to avoid interference between the tool and the screw, or other equivalent methods can be used. The total height of the specimen depends on the method of fixation chosen.

3. The material of the specimen, the cutter and the cutting parameters:

The materials, cutting tools and cutting parameters of the specimen shall be selected according to the agreement between the manufacturer and the user, and shall be recorded. The recommended cutting parameters are as follows:

1) Cutting speed: about 50m/min for cast iron; About 300m/min for aluminum parts.

2) Feed: about (0.05-0.10) mm/ tooth.

3) Cutting depth: the radial cutting depth of all milling processes should be 0.2mm.

4, the size of the specimen:

If the specimen has been cut several times, the size of the shape is reduced and the aperture is increased, when used for acceptance inspection, it is recommended to choose the final contour machining specimen size consistent with that specified in this standard, so as to accurately reflect the cutting accuracy of CNC machining center. The specimen may be used repeatedly in the cutting test and its specification shall be kept within 10% of the characteristic size given in this standard. When the specimen is used again, a thin-layer cutting should be performed to clear all surfaces before a new cutting test is performed.
