How the Grinder Works

The feed method of grinding head is mainly divided into quantitative feed and fixed pressure feed.

When quantitative feeding grinding, the feed mechanism expands the feed at a constant rate, so that the grinding grain is forced into the workpiece. When the oil stone produces clogging cutting force decreased, the feed is greater than the actual grinding amount, at which point the grinding pressure increases, so that the grinding particles fall off and break. The cutting action is enhanced.

When the fixed pressure feed, due to uneven surface of the workpiece, it is necessary to adjust the amount of the grinding head in real time to ensure that the workpiece withstands a constant grinding force.
