From January to August, Cebu's Foreign Trade Exports Grew by 59.9% and Exports of Mechanical and Electrical Products and High-tech Products Grew Rapidly

According to cebu customs statistics, from January to August this year, the import and export trade volume of Cebu City was 23.42 billion yuan, up 53.5% yoY. Among them, export trade amounted to 20.76 billion yuan, an increase of 59.9%, while import trade amounted to 2.66 billion yuan, an increase of 17.3%. Data show that the export of mechanical and electrical products and high-tech products in Cebu City grew rapidly. From January to August, the customs jurisdiction of Cebu exported 9.9 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 302.7%, while the export of high-tech products was 8.48 billion yuan, an increase of 737.7%.
