Ferritic stainless steel is a stainless steel with a low carbon content but an existing amount. Generally, the carbon concentration in ferritic stainless steel does not exceed 0.10%. Although other minerals can be added to these steels (molybdenum is a common additive), they are mainly composed of chromium.
