The grooving and blocking in parts CNC processing plants are attributed to turning applications, which is attributed to the more common machining process in the machining profession. In the whole grooving and blocking process, the selection of the knife and the application are all appropriate and particular. Therefore, today we will talk about blocking and grooving.

   Interception:

   1. Pick a tool

When blocking pipes, workpieces and bars, it is important to reduce the cutting force and save the data. Therefore, the blade should be as narrow as possible, and the groove shape can make the cutting narrower than the groove. This posture can achieve outstanding cutting control and appearance finish.

   2. How to use

The blade should be as narrow as possible. This can help save data and reduce cutting forces, and also reduce environmental pollution. If possible, prevent cutting to the center. Blocking up to 2mm before the center of the workpiece will reduce the feed rate by 75%. This attitude can maximize the tool life. Stop the cutting process about 1mm before approaching the center of the workpiece, and the part will fall due to its own weight and length.

  Notices for blocking processing:

   1. Set the height of the blade tip to a position 0.1 to 0.2 mm higher than the center point.

   2. Wet processing must be used and a sufficient amount of cutting fluid must be ensured to flow to the cutting edge.

   3. The recommended processing is to use a fixed rotating tree in order to stabilize the life of the tool.

   4. As close as possible to the clamping point when blocking.

   5. When the cutting process is close to the center, please lower the feed amount to 1/2 to 3/1 to prevent impact during cutting.

2.1. Block up to pre-drilled hole

Be sure to drill to meet the depth so as not to affect the lateral force. The force of the blade at the side sharp angle may cause the blade to crack and the common tool life.

2.2. Plugging small-diameter bar stock, plugging thin-walled tube

Try to use the smallest and sharpest blade to ensure the best possible force.

   2.3. No flash edge interception

Using right-hand or left-hand fine grinding blades with front corners to prevent or reduce flash. Note that the large rake angle reduces the flash, but it may cause an uneven appearance and may result in a poorer surface finish and shorter tool life. Use the smallest possible front corner. CNC fine parts processing

   2.4. Blocking of pipe fittings

Using as narrow a blade as possible to save data, reduce cutting force and reduce environmental pollution.

   2.5. No burr blocking

Use fine blades with right or left hand with front corners to prevent or reduce burrs.

CNC processing factory

Therefore, at the time of machining in the CNC machining factory of the part, when the force of the tool and the direction of movement are common, it must be carefully operated, to prevent the occurrence of the phenomenon of the knife and the broken knife, etc., to be able to reduce certain losses, and to the tool In order to do a good job in the sharpening and clamping conditions, all parameters of the machine tool must be adjusted to make all parts of the machine tool outstanding.
